Wow... it's a really cool SRW fighting animations~~!
Very powerful Xmas blast~~!

Animation is up to standard. I initially thought the bot is carrying
a hammer like backpack...

However, it's a bit pity that I didn't see a very evil Santa to do a very
evil "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Xmas". Also, if you want to add a bit funs,
you should add a few Xmas tree decoration stuffs as flying debris.
(And nowadays in SRW, when any mecha get hit, it will have some
"got-hit" reactions... but I guess there's not much time for you to
address this part. Nevermind...)

I just like this hot-blood Xmas Greeting~~! Merry Xmas!!

其實諗聖誕老人既死對頭都諗左好耐, 不過都系諗唔到XD
而且後尾明顯系唔夠時間, d 電都直接用 aftereffect 既 plugin, 其實應該用 ps 畫會似 d 機戰果隻動畫 feel

其實大部份動作都系用 flash ^^
之後 合成 剪片 音效 用 aftereffect, 不過感覺上 AE 冇 premiere 咁易用,
而且都幾食 ram

I think any bad guy will do... after all, Santa will only gift the good ones...

That AFX lighting plug-in is quite handy. If you are so serious, you have to
either hand-draw or use 3D particle engines to animate and render some
lightings for you.

You got your inspiration from Hunkebein MkIII Gunner Frame final attack
[SRW Alpha ver.]?

In terms of smoothness and naturalness, I suspect there were cel-anime
2D animators assisting the SRW production. (They could just trace over all
hand-drawn image sequence in computers)

Do FX jobs and compositing in AFX. AFX is specialised in doing special
effect, so it's not as convenient as Premiere.

Yes, AFX use a lot of RAM to previews. So you could either do by small sequence,
rendering out a small clip (low resolution), etc.

Putting sound track and sound effect are OK in AFX. But I guess Premiere will do
better for you to have real time feedback.

Moreover, I usually set preview window to around 50% and keep the preview
screen resolution to very low. These will help to ease out some of memory
issues. However, longer the clip and more complicated effect you use, it
will take longer and more memory for AFX to render for preview.
